Topic: Snowbirds! (Hmmm ... those seeking warmer climate during the traditional MN winters)
Comments: It is important to us that we mail your FHS Newsletter to a correct address (PO Returns get expensive). Make sure you let us know if you are going to be gone to "warmer climates" for the October and/or February issues! Will you be gone for both issues or only the February Issue? Let us know! Comments: Just pondering (I often do that): I don't know how many of you realize that the FHS Alumni Newsletter is dominantly the work of ONE PERSON (Janet Schultheis). It was her initial idea and has been sustained the past 15 years by her drive and vision ... Issue #58 is in editing stages! She has assembled a small cadre of volunteer help to assist her but largely the publication is still JANET's!
My pondering includes: Janet is approaching 80 years ... wondering how long she will maintain the drive for continuing this newsletter ... will the newsletter cease to exist when Janet no longer does it herself ... is there a need for this publication that might be "carried on" in some way?
